Born September 22 , 1869 in Valagaiman, Thanjavar.
Qualification F.A in Madras Presidency College in 1886,B.A from same in 1888
Wife Name Parvati,Lakshmi
Daughter Rukmini

 

Life :

- In 1888 started as teacher in Municipality School in Mayavaram.
- In 1892 joined Teacher's training college
- In 1895 became vice-principle of Municipal college high school
- In1895 moved to Pachaiappa's college high school.                                                                                                            
- In 1913 became a member of Madras Legislative Council.
- In 1920 he got elected to council of state
- In 1921 was made member of Privy Council

 

Death  :            April 17, 1946.

Srinivasa Sastri from the very childhood was meritorious in studies. He aquented the people abroad about India during his tours abroad. Besides passionate for studies and highly prilific in politics he was a good Orator. He held his audience spellbound by his immaculate fluency in English. Though simple in attire he is tough by mind and thoughts giving his atmost a superb role in Indian Independence.
